Sorry, it seems that your browser doesn't know how to run beta Java applets. If it did you would see here a simulation of Rubik's Cube that can be twisted with the mouse. Here's a screenshot of what you're missing.

Click a cubelet face, move the mouse in the direction you want the slice to move to, and release the mouse button. Press the Ctrl key at the same time to move the whole cube.
