Sister Patrice Dora of the Sisters of St. Joseph has been
named the new Principal of St. Augustine School on Clifford Street
in Hartford's South End.
Sister Dora has been involved in education for over 40 years.
Over the years she has served as principal of St. Sebastian Elementary
in Middletown, Holy Rosary Elementary School in Bridgeport, Our
Lady of Sorrows Elementary School in Hartford and St. James Elementary
School in Danielson.
"I am pleased to continue the tradition of charism of the
Sisters of St. Joseph here in Hartford at St. Augustine's and
I'm looking forward to working with [the school's] 350 children
and dedicated teachers and volunteers," said Dora.
