Town Government
The Town of Windsor operates under a Council-Manager form of government. A Town Council, elected every two years,
serves as the Town's legislative and policy-making body. The Mayor, selected by the Council, serves as chairman
of the Council.
A professional Town Manager is appointed by the Council to administer its
policies and direct municipal operations. Town staff in Windsor operate
under a team-based management approach, focusing on excellence through
customer satisfaction with all municipal services.
In addition to the Council and an efficient administration, the Town of Windsor is also guided by the
participation of hundreds of volunteers who serve on some two dozen boards, commissions, and committees
Town Council meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 7:30 PM in the Town Hall Council Chambers.
