Northern Connecticut Ballet
located in Windsor, CT offers a unique ballet experience for children and adults of all ages founded by Helen Stevenson in 1975.
The school of the NCB focuses on classical ballet training and appreciation of ballet as an art form. As students work toward a classic ideal, they are also encouraged to express themselves as individuals and develop their own dance personalities. Students are placed in classes according to age, ability and previous dance experience. Students and dancers are invited to participate in full-scale, professional productions. In early December NCB performs its traditional version of the Nutcracker. At the end of May, the dancers perform in the Spring Gala, which includes various traditional ballets as well as newly choreographed works.
